There is such an emerging movement going on in the National Capital Region,
Ottawa is definitely pushing forward! The local bustle & buzz was in effect and many stylistas were to be seen! Here are reviews of my favorite shows on Day 2 of
OFW. I would like to Thank
John Smith for capturing the best runway photographs ever! More
OFW coverage coming soon!
Andrew Majtenyi is for the confident woman who is at the pinnacle of her career and detains a flair for fashion. The line consisted of neutral colors intertwined with earthy patterns translated onto attire that can be worn to the office and is also coincidentally perfect for 5 à 7.
As the violinist opened
Jana Hanzel’s show, the mood was set; “Nouvelle Victorienne” describes her collection. This line was all about bringing the Victorian era to this century; classical, political and regal are the keywords. Although her collection alludes to the Victorian era,
Jana Hanzel fused design elements of other eras into her line along with a mixture of unconventional textiles which was intriguing. Her collection definitely peaked interest and demonstrated how the Victorian woman would look today, which was very eye tantalizing.
Judy Design’s line was soft and edgy, her designs demonstrated a subdued rocker chic vibe. A devilish, "no mercy" type of femme would definitely be seen wearing her collection. Her creations were consistent and substantial therefore this clothing line will definitely fly off the rack!
